Kocaeli University Library has subscribed to numerous electronic resources through licensing agreements with publishers and companies. Violation of the terms in these agreements by any individual can lead to temporary closure of databases to our University, and in some cases, can result in termination of the agreement and permanent closure of databases to our University. In order to prevent such problems, we kindly request all esteemed faculty members and academics to strictly adhere to the rules outlined below.

1- You may obtain a specific number of printed or electronic copies (e.g., a single article, a chapter of a book, a single thesis).

2- You may use it to meet your own informational needs (e.g., in your research or course). You may share the information obtained from databases with staff and students within KOU.

1- It is prohibited to copy a large number of publications from databases for commercial or systematic purposes using robots or similar software, or to transfer them to personal computers.

2- Selling the database or distributing its content is prohibited.

3- Transferring copied information from the database to individuals outside our University is prohibited.

4- Distributing content or articles copied from the database via email lists is prohibited.

5- Modifying records downloaded from the database or creating similar works based on them is prohibited.
