Google Chrome (Windows / macOS)
Windows:
Chrome browser does not provide a direct proxy setting; it uses system settings.
Open Chrome.
Click on the three dots in the top right corner > Settings.
Go to the System section.
Click on "Open your computer's proxy settings."
In the opened window, enable the Proxy Server option and enter the necessary address/port details.
Save the changes.
macOS:
Chrome > Settings > Privacy and Security > Click on "Open proxy settings."
Go to System Preferences > Network > Active connection (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) > Advanced > Proxy tab.
Select the relevant protocol (HTTP, HTTPS, etc.) and enter the server/port information.
Click "OK" and then "Apply" to save.
Mozilla Firefox
Firefox supports browser-specific proxy settings.
Open Firefox.
Click on the ☰ menu in the top right > Settings (or Preferences).
Go to the General tab and scroll down to the Network Settings section.
Click on the "Settings..." button.
Choose one of the following options:
No proxy
Use system proxy settings
Manual proxy configuration → Enter the server and port details.
Save the settings and close the window.
Microsoft Edge
Edge browser uses system settings, so you cannot change proxy settings directly through Edge. However, by following these steps, you can configure proxy settings for all internet connections on your computer:
Open Edge browser.
Click on the three dots in the top right and go to Settings.
Click on the System tab, then select "Open your computer's proxy settings."
Enter the proxy server address and port number.
These settings will apply to Edge as well as other browsers on your computer.
Safari (macOS)
Safari uses system-wide proxy settings.
Go to System Preferences > Network > Select the Active connection.
Click Advanced > Proxy tab.
Select the necessary proxy type (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS).
Enter the server and port details.
Click "OK" and then "Apply" to save.
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
On iOS devices, proxy can only be set for Wi-Fi connections.
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
Tap the "i" icon next to the connected Wi-Fi network.
Scroll to the bottom and go to the HTTP Proxy section.
Select "Manual."
Enter the server address and port number.
Go back to automatically save the settings.
Android (Phone & Tablet)
Proxy settings on Android devices can be set through the connected Wi-Fi network (system-level proxy cannot be set for mobile data).
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
Long press on the connected Wi-Fi network > Select "Modify Network" (or "Edit").
Show advanced options.
Set the Proxy to "Manual."
Enter the server address and port number.
Tap "Save."
